Stacking The Shelves #3

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews.

~*~Won~*~

Wither by Lauren DeStefano

Shattered Dreams by Ellie James (signed copy)

I won both of these novels in a giveaway hosted by Kate @ ExLibrisKate. I came in fourth, and got to choose two books off of a list of books where the people who placed before me got to choose two other books off of. While neither of these were my top choice, I've had my eye on Wither for a while. Both books are the first novels in their respective series. Plus, Shattered Dreams is my first ever signed book!

I am still waiting for both of these noels to arrive in the mail, but they should be here any day now! I won them in the beginning of the week.

~*~Bought~*~

Thin Air by Lynn Seresin

I bought this novel for the Kindle because it was only $0.99. It looks really unique since the main character is a winged air spirit that falls in love with a human. I have yet to read a book that had a winged air spirit, so I wanted to give this book a shot for originality!

What books did everyone get this week and what do you think of my books?

  3. Hey i'm a new follower :).
I read Wither last year. It's a good dystopian book but I was a little disappointed. The idea of this story is really unique though.
I haven't read Shattered Dreams or Thin Air but I love these covers !
I hope you'll like these books and happy reading !

  11. Lili, you're going to LOVE Wither -- or at least I did! It gets a lot of mixed feelings around the blogosphere, but I think that it's just such a beautifully written book with an interesting premise, and I truly adored it! :) I hope you like it as much as I did! <3
