Rogue Blog Tour + Giveaway

I am so happy to be part of this tour for ROGUE, book three in the CROAK trilogy by Gina Damico. If you don't know my opinions on this series than you must not have been following me for long. This is my go-to series for absolute hilariousness. My review of book three will go up at the end of the month and while I will reveal nothing in the review just yet, I'll say that books one and two earned a solid four stars from me, but book three upped that rating to a solid five. Do with that what you will!

Now, this is not a normal tour. Gina gave everyone participating a series of pictures to help depict important moments in the story. It'll help you piece together the major events in your own way before you get to read the final installment for yourself!

Lex is a teenage Grim Reaper with the power to Damn souls, and it’s getting out of control. She’s a fugitive, on the run from the maniacal new mayor of Croak and the townspeople who want to see her pay the price for her misdeeds. Uncle Mort rounds up the Junior Grims to flee Croak once again, but this time they’re joined by Grotton, the most powerful Grim of all time. Their new mission is clear: Fix his mistakes, or the Afterlife will cease to exist, along with all the souls in it.

The gang heads for Necropolis, the labyrinth-like capital city of the Grimsphere. There, they discover that the Grimsphere needs a reboot. To do that, the portals to the Afterlife must be destroyed…but even that may not be enough to fix the damage. Things go from bad to worse, and when at last the fate of the Afterlife and all the souls of the Damned hang in the balance, it falls to Lex and her friends to make one final, impossible choice.

~*~A Message from Gina~*~

Hey hey Croak fans! Welcome to my blog tour / photo hunt / Roguestravaganza!

From now until ROGUE's release on September 10th, each stop on the tour will reveal an image that represents a chapter in the book - could refer to setting, plot, an important object, mood, or whatever other diabolical visualizations with which I feel like tormenting my dear readers. Each image also contains a hidden letter...though really, they're not that well hidden. (If you have eyes, you should be able to spot them.) Collect the letters every day, and at the end of the tour I'll hold a contest, the winner of which will receive signed and annotated copies of the complete trilogy. (For a complete description of the contest, tour schedule, and links to the stops you might have missed, check out the blog tour page on my website.)

This photo is for Chapter 7. I will let the image do the talking.

~*~Giveaway~*~

To enter this giveaway, simply comment below with your thoughts on the picture and an e-mail address to contact you by. What do you think it symbolizes in relation to the story? I jumped for joy when I got this picture because this chapter opened up a huge fan of "holy shits!" from me for the rest of the story.

The prize for this giveaway is a Croak prize pack! This prize pack contains a scythe pendant, three signed bookmarks, three signed bookplates, and three magnets. I will choose the winner within a few days and contact them immediately. I expect a timely reply in return. (:

  7. There are theories that there is tremendous, untapped power at the center of the US. Maybe they will travel there in an attempt to harness that power to stop the portals to the afterlife from collapsing. kbinmich@yahoo.com
