Top Ten New-To-Me Authors That I Read in 2013

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish.

I read many new-to-me authors this year and it was so hard to pick just ten! So, in no particular order...

1. Robin Benway - Also Known As
2. Huntley Fitzpatrick - My Life Next Door
3. Rainbow Rowell - Fangirl
5. Trish Doller - Something Like Normal
6. Robyn Schneider - The Beginning of Everything
7. Kasie West - The Distance Between Us
9. Brodi Ashton - Everneath
10. Stacey Jay - Of Beast and Beauty

  2. Such a great list! Robin Benway, Huntley Fitzpatrick, and Rainbow Rowell definitely would have been on my list. Fangirl was brilliant as were the books I read from the other authors. I also read my first two John Green books this year so he'd probably have to be on mine as well. And Stacey Jay's debut was nice as well. All in all, your list is almost what I would have had mine be.

    1. That wasn't Stacey Jay's debut. She wrote several novels prior to this.

      Haha and that's great!

  3. OMG how could I forget to add The Fault in Our Stars to my list?! It was so amazing *runs and changes post* okay there. I really loved My Life Next Door too, and I've been seeing Kasie West literally everywhere. I really need to read her books. Awesome list!

  4. YAY for My Life Next Door! That's one of my favourite books ever. I own or want all the rest of the books on your list, and it's reminding me that I really need to get my butt in gear and start reading some of the books from my shelves! ;-)

  5. I love your choices!!!!! Yes to most of them!!! I read most of them but I don't think I loved half of them as much as you did. Haha. But the majority were awesome reads! 2013 was a great reading year!!

  6. Great list, Lili! Brodi, Stacy and Huntley are favorites of mine, and Rainbow made my list today too. I'm definitely looking forward to reading all the other authors on your list too. Your review of Also Known As made me want to get it asap!

  7. Ooooh, I approve, Lili. Though I didn't like The Girl of Fire and Thorns, the sequels were quite good. Haha. :-p

THIS SONG is the best book. I can't even.
