Summer of Series: June Challenge Goals & Link Up!

Hello, hello! Welcome to the 74th annual Hunger Games… no, we’re kidding. Welcome to the official start of Summer of Series brought to you by your lovely hosts, Danielle at Love at First Page and yours truly!

We met at BEA!
In case you missed it, we recently announced this summer-long reading event, which includes author interviews, giveaways, and fabulous new suggestions for your reading pile! The goal is to read one series a month, a series qualifying as at least three books in a series or a companion series, audiobooks included. At the end of every month, acknowledge somewhere on your blog that you have completed your series and you can enter to win a book of your choosing (no matter where you live!), and you will get additional entries in the giveaway for every other book read that’s a part of series as well. For a full explanation of the details and rules, please click the above link! We’d love for you to join if you haven’t already, so be sure to link up below or at the bottom of the original post. Don’t miss out on the fun and reading the series you’ve been meaning to get around to! Series reading galore! Woooo!

As the hosts of this event, we will be working towards the challenge with you!

Our June Challenge Goals

For the month of June, Lili will be reading The Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta. This past year she has read 2 of Marchetta’s contemporary titles and has officially fallen in love with her. Primarily a fantasy reader, she’s expecting to be blown away by this series.

For the month of June, Danielle will be reading The Game trilogy by Eve Silver. She is always so happy (and surprised) whenever she finds a YA series without a triangle. Now that Eve Silver’s trilogy is completing this month, she’s ready to swoon for Miki and Jackson!

And, of course, if the sheer enjoyment from binging a series and kicking that TBR’s butt isn’t enough for you, we do have an amazing group of authors that will be stopping by both of our blogs every Thursday and Saturday to tell you about their amazing series and even provide their own giveaways.  Keep in mind, you get extra points in the Rafflecopters if you sign up for or spread the word about the event on your blog!

*Remember, you do not have to link up to the challenge to enter these giveaways, but you have a greater chance to win if you do so! Simply posting about Summer of Series on your blog and adding that to the Linky qualifies you for these extra entries, as does actually signing up for the event. Completing the monthly challenge is required only to qualify for our end of the month round-up giveaways for a book of your choosing.

Before we forget, we also want to tell you about our hashtag! We feel like such big deals because a hashtag makes things officially official! Don’t forget to use #SummerofSeries when tweeting and instagramming your way through this challenge so we can keep track of your reading and fangirl together!

We’ll see you back here on June 4th!

If you’ve linked up already, you do not have to do so again! For first-timers, remember to link up directly to your post, not just your blog! In the future there will be a separate linky for your series reviews, and Rafflecopters will be used for the author giveaways.
