Summer of Series: July Challenge Goals & Link Up's

In case you’ve been living under a rock (or drowned in the amazingness that is Big Brother live feeds), Danielle and I started a Summer of Series challenge that you can learn more about here. We are still open to July and August participants.

June was such an awesome month for us, so we can’t wait to see what July and August have to hold! Both Danielle and I (or vice versa) were successful with our June picks! Lili absolutely LOVED the Lumatere Chronicles and Danielle just finished her series that I have to know about, like, now after having such a crazy month. Hopefully you liked your series even half as much as we did ours!

For those of you who were official challenge participants in June, link up your proof of reading your series below. This could be mentioning it in a monthly recap, a series review, a set of reviews for the series, etc. Proof that three books were read!

For those of you who have completed your June trilogy, we also have a giveaway for one book of your choice up to $15 as long as the Book Depository ships to you. This giveaway ends July 15th, so you have 2 weeks to get your points in! You are automatically entered for reading your trilogy, but you get extra entries for reading a book towards any series in the month of June.

For example:
Lili read The Lumatere Chronicles in the month of June, which is her mandatory series and an automatic 5 points. She also read The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace that started a new series for her and Scorched by Jennifer L. Armentrout that is the last book in a duology. So she gets an extra entry for each of those titles for a total of 7 entries. All you have to do is link to some kind of proof that the book(s) were read to claim those entries!

And, as the hosts of this event, of course we will be participating with you in July!

July Challenge Goals

For the month of July, Lili will be reading the Under The Never Sky trilogy by Veronica Rossi. This is a trilogy she has had her eyes on for a while, and many people have recommended it to her over the years. But Danielle says this is an ultimate OTP, so she couldn’t resist!

For the month of July, Danielle will be reading the Defiance trilogy by C.J. Redwine. She’s heard so many amazing things about it from her blogging buddies, plus she’s a huge fan of dual point-of-view. She’s excited to finally knock this one off her TBR!
Now that we are a month into the challenge, you know the drill. We have another awesome group of authors that will be stopping by both of our blogs every Thursday and Saturday to tell you about their amazing series and even provide their own giveaways. Remember: you get extra points in the Rafflecopters if you sign up for the event on your blog!

Simply posting about Summer of Series on your blog and adding that to the Linky qualifies you for these extra entries, as does actually signing up for the event. Completing the monthly challenge is required only to qualify for our end of the month round-up giveaways for a book of your choosing.
We’ll see you back here tomorrow!

If you’ve linked up already, you do not have to do so again! For first-timers, remember to link up directly to your post, not just your blog! This is not where you link up your series reviews; that’s done above using the Rafflecopter.
